Activities and Attractions in and around Sun City West and Sun City Grand: 40 minutes easy driving distance from downtown Phoenix, with great antique shops, museums, galleries, native American and southwest shops, casinos, fine dining, live theater, concerts, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. 30 minutes from the Phoenix airport, 10 minutes from the Peoria Sports Stadium (Mariners and Padres spring training location), and one of the largest malls in Arizona. Two hours from Flagstaff and 90 minutes from Sedona. Thirty minutes from Lake Pleasant with boating, sailing and fishing, etc. One day drives to Grand Canyon, shopping in Nogales, Mexico, awesome Superstition Mountains and Tortilla Flat.
